  We spent a week at Nenagh for the Gleeson family reunion where we were regaled with hospitality, generosity and the benefit of excellent and informative lectures by Nora Gleeson OMeara, Dr Maurice Gleeson (Maurice's lecture on dna was excellent and enjoyable) and Michael Gleeson et al.
  The huge amount of preparation and organisation which was put in to entertain and inform us was impressive and grealty appreciated by us.
  Particularly enjoyable was the day at Silvermines where we did a fascinating cemetery tour with entertaining, witty and knowledgeable hosts including Joe Gleeson, Michael O'Brien (his talk in the Silvermines Church was a highlight) and local people who had dug graves and helped to put together the whole program.
  Their anecdotes and conviviality were pure gold.
  Thank you all from the bottoms of our hearts for a glorious and memorable week.
